Directions, Opening Hours
Following the termination of project funding by the Berlin Senate Chancellery on 31 December 2024, we regretfully had to close our location at the Berlin Ostbahnhof by 2 June 2025. Our previous landlord, DB infrago, unfortunately saw no possibility of further accommodating us regarding rental costs.
After our unfortunately brief interim stay at the Ostbahnhof, the S-Bahn Museum has now returned to its small temporary premises at the S- and U-Bahn station Gesundbrunnen. There, we will initially resume displaying our exhibition, including films on the history of the North–South S-Bahn. In the coming year, we plan to update the exhibition and offer additional small-scale events. Of course, we continue working toward a long-term solution that would allow us to present the history of the S-Bahn in a manner commensurate with its significance. Until this longer-term goal is achieved, we look forward to welcoming you again at Gesundbrunnen.
When: 28 February 2026, 28 March 2026, 25 April 2026, 30 May 2026, each from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Where: In the underground spaces located on the central reservation at the intersection of Bad- and Behmstraße (opposite the red brick building of the U-Bahn entrance) – the premises are not barrier-free!
Admission: 3 EUR / 1.50 EUR
